Questions about glass tabletops
Can you make a glass top for my existing table?
Yes. We measure, cut and finish a glass top to fit your table, desk or cabinet, in any shape and size.
Will a glass top protect my timber table?
Yes. A custom top shields timber from scratches, heat and spills, which is ideal for antiques and softer or French-polished finishes.
How thick should a glass table top be?
It depends on the use. We make tops in 6mm, 8mm or 10mm glass and can recommend the right thickness for your table.
Can you remove scratches from a glass table top?
Light surface marks can sometimes be polished out, but deeper scratches usually mean replacing the glass. We can take a look and let you know.
Do you polish the edges?
Yes. We finish the edges with a flat polish or a bevel so the top is smooth and safe to touch.
